Therapy can be horrible so we made a game about it.

Playing is easy. You’ll make 3 panel comics about it with your friends. You’ll laugh. You’ll gasp. You’ll be mildly offended (in a fun way).

But ultimately, you’ll feel great when your intrusive thoughts help you win the game!

What's In the Box?

Horrible Therapist comes with:

80 Question Cards

158 Answer Cards

200 Treatment Cards

Plus, one instruction manual that you will probably skim.

GIVE INTO YOUR INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS

Look at your Treatment Cards. Pick which one would be the best (or most unhinged) third panel of the comic. Play that card face down.

Once all the Treatments are in, the Therapist reads all of them and picks the one that best completes the comic.

If your Treatment gets picked you win 1 point! The first player to 3 points wins (but this probably means you should schedule some extra therapy sessions, just in case!)

We played this at a party last weekend and the 3-panel comic format somehow turned my quietest friend into the most brutally funny person in the room. The prompts are so delightfully wrong that even the "mildly offended" reactions had everyone howling. It's now the first game I grab when people come

I brought this to game night expecting some cheap laughs, but we were howling by the third round and it ended up being the highlight of the whole evening. The three-panel structure makes every round quick to set up, and the cards push you into those perfect "mildly offended" moments that somehow fee

The three-panel comic format is genius—even our most unfunny friend managed to land a punchline. We were gasping and groaning within the first round, and the "mildly offended" warning is spot on. It's the rare party game that gets better the meaner you get.
