Mantis: Grab & Game Edition

We’ve played this three nights in a row with the kids, and the mix of strategy and luck keeps everyone on their toes no matter who’s winning. The grab-and-go size is perfect for tossing in a bag, and the cards have survived some pretty rough shuffling so far.

The card art is genuinely gorgeous—my kids kept stopping mid-game to admire the illustrations—and it’s compact enough to toss in a bag for picnics. We’ve already played five rounds tonight and the mix of strategy and luck keeps everyone laughing, even the adults.

Bought this for a road trip and it saved us—the compact card game fits right in the glovebox and the vibrant illustrations kept everyone engaged between rounds. The mix of strategy and luck makes it easy to teach, and we’ve already played it three nights in a row at home.
